Mobility on Campus
Table of contents
The TU Dresden has set itself the goal of making the university campus more sustainable. This includes promoting environmentally friendly mobility, e.g. by improving the infrastructure for cyclists and pedestrians.
Likewise, this includes increasing the quality of outdoor areas as well as improving accessibility of the TU campus and the university buildings.

Bicycle parking, bicycle service stations and self-help workshop
With the support of the Sächsisches Immobilien- und Baumanagement (SIB), the TU's Facility Management implements bicycle parking facilities and ensures that sufficient bicycle parking areas are provided in new construction projects.
For designated bicycle parking spaces at the university have a look at the bicycle map of Open Street Map.
There are three bicycle service stations with tools and air pumps on the TU Dresden campus: in front of the Hörsaalzentrum (HSZ), at the administrative building "Uni mit Kind" on the core campus and at the CRTD in Johannstadt.
Bicycles can be repaired at the self-help workshop Rad i.O. at the student dormitory Wundtstr. 9. Further information: https://www.rad-i-o.org
