"Climate Protection at TUD—Concept and Approaches for Collective Action" on December 4, 2026
The TUD’s climate protection plan has been approved. But how can it be brought to life in the day-to-day operations of the university, and what specific courses of action does it entail?
On December 4, 2026, interested members of the TUD community will have the opportunity to learn about the plan, its content, and how it was developed. The focus will be on open discussion and the question of how we can collectively shape and advance climate protection at TUD.
To this end, small groups will be formed to discuss the following topics and identify concrete courses of action:
- “Responsible Business Travel” with Christiane Kunath, Chair of Industrial Design Engineering
- “Making Procurement Sustainable” with Anna Schöndube, Saxony Center of Excellence for Sustainable Procurement
- “Discovering and Utilizing Sufficiency” with Matthias Damert, plant values GbR
The event offers a space to share experiences and perspectives, gain new insights, and jointly develop concrete approaches for implementing the climate protection strategy.
Time: December 4, 2026, 1:00–2:30 p.m.
