Become part of the sustainability movement - sustainability ambassadors

Are you interested in sustainability and would like to promote it at TU Dresden—in your faculty, your unit, or even your Faculty Student Council or university group—but don’t know where to start? Would you like to start a conversation with colleagues and fellow students about sustainability and sustainable work and living, but are facing challenges in doing so? Or perhaps you’re unsure where to find information and simply want to network more to advance the issue and meet like-minded people?

The Green Office is offering this event to address these questions together with you and facilitate mutual support. What could be your starting points and opportunities for motivating your department or committee toward greater sustainability? What are the points of contact at the university, and how can you support one another?

In the first session (October 28, 2026), we’d like to provide you with an introduction to TU Dresden’s efforts and current initiatives regarding sustainability. At the second session (November 19, 2026), we’ll focus on specific areas where action can be taken. We’ve invited experts from zukunftsgestalten e.V. to show you what effective action looks like.

Ideally, you’ll attend both sessions, but please register even if you can only attend one of them.

Target Audience: This program was specifically designed for people who want to serve as change agents within their institutions, at TU Dresden, and on their committees. This course is intended to serve as a starting point for participants to network with one another as sustainability ambassadors, support one another, and receive guidance from us.
