In 2024, the Environment Commission is funding several projects aimed at making TU Dresden more sustainable.

•  The student-organised course "SustainAbility - Understanding and implementing sustainability" will be continued.
• The construction of a demonstrator for oil-free heat pumps is being financially supported to train students in this area.
• An electric cargo bike from the Department of Hydrosciences for the sustainable transport of samples, teaching materials and other technology between the different locations is co-funded by the Commission.
• The Plants and Maintenance working group is being funded as it combines teaching with practical green space maintenance on campus.
