On the way to campus - results of the TUD mobility survey 2025

Already for the fourth time the TUD conducted a  mobility survey of its students and employees. A questionnaire could be completed online from May 6 to June 6, 2025. The evaluation of the survey has been completed and the results show the current mobility needs of staff and students of TUD. The outcome provides important data for the further development of the university's mobility services, so that targeted measures to improve transport conditions and to promote environmentally friendly mobility can be initiated.

The content of the mobility survey ensures a high degree of comparability with the data from previous surveys (2008, 2018 and 2022).
This allows analyzing changes in mobility behavior and drawing conclusions regarding the effectiveness of already implemented measures. 

Find out about the results of the fourth mobility survey at TUD and learn how the choice of means of transport has changed over time. Which measures can be derived from the current mobility behavior to make commuting to TUD safer and more efficient and sustainable?

All interested staff and students are cordially invited to the presentation of results on January 8, 2026 from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Dülfer-Saal. The event will be held in German. Registration is not required.
