SHK/FHK Wanted: Support for the TUD Green Lab Program
We are looking for an SHK/FHK for the following project:
SHK/FHK Collaboration in the TUD Green Lab Program
Background:
Since 2003, the TUD Dresden University of Technology has had an environmental management system in accordance with EMAS, which is integrated into the TUD’s sustainability strategy. As part of EMAS, the TUD published a Green Lab Guide for laboratories. In addition, the Green Lab TUD Program was developed specifically to promote greater sustainability in the laboratories. TUD laboratories can have their participation in the program certified. A pilot phase is planned for September 2026 at the School of Medicine. The SHK/FHK will support this phase
Tasks:
- Assistance with organizing informational events
- Assistance with internal audits
- Assistance with evaluating the audits, preparing minutes, and writing evaluation reports
- Assistance with maintaining the TUD intranet pages
Employment from October 1, 2026, through December 31, 2026, for 6 hours per week, with the option of extension if additional funding is approved for the project.
Requirements:
Experience in laboratory work, an understanding of scientific methods, and the ability to work independently are helpful. Knowledge of English is an advantage (the primary language in the laboratories). However, a good command of German is also important for the evaluation reports. An interest in and motivation for sustainability issues is also a requirement.
