"Summer of Excellence" was once again the banner under which international junior scientists had the opportunity to advance their individual research, enter into an intensive exchange of knowledge and develop a long-lasting research network at TU Dresden's International Summer Schools from July to October 2015.
Scientists and academics from all around the world took part in the International Summer Schools. Internationally renowned speakers passed on the latest findings on each of the main topic areas.
Together with the Summer Schools, two more events also form part of the "Summer of Excellence 2015": in October, both the Alumni Symposium "Plant Derived Polyphenols as Drug Leads", organised by the Institute of Zoology, and an interdisciplinary Regional Ambassadors Conference hosted by the Alumni Relations Office at TU Dresden took place.
A joint "Night of Excellence" event completed the intensive programme of the Summer Schools.
