Erfolgreiche Europäische Hochschulallianz EUTOPIA erhält weitere Förderung von der Europäischen Kommission
Since its launch in 2019, the European higher education alliance EUTOPIA has been funded by the European Commission as one of 17 alliances. Now, the alliance could convince once again with its new project "EUTOPIA MORE" and will receive a further 14.4 million euros over the next four years to consolidate the partnership and further develop joint teaching and learning models. Funding may be extended for additional two years, if the interim evaluation is positive.
There are already many ideas for the coming funding phase. For example, a joint digitization strategy will identify Best Practices and lead to the creation of an Open Science Office. In addition, the EUTOPIA Global Community Network aims to bring together local, regional, European and global partner institutions to promote the transfer of research results to society. In the longer term, the EUTOPIA universities plan to establish a joint EUTOPIA College with collaborative teaching opportunities, as well as an EUTOPIA Global Institute to promote joint research projects aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. EUTOPIA will setting up with this an important signal for European values and global commitment.
