If you have questions regarding the content or organisation of individual events listed on TUD’s calendar of events, please reach out to the contact person listed in the respective event announcement.
How can I add an event to TUD’s calendar of events?
Only events or event series organised by TU Dresden or in cooperation with TU Dresden appear in the calendar of events. Therefore, only employees or students of TU Dresden can submit dates to the calendar of events.
Submitting events with your own events overview in the TUD WebCMS
Once you have created the event or event series in your schedule, you can submit it to the calendar of events. To do this, select the option "Submit to an event board" under "Actions". In the form that now opens, you can select the TUD calendar of events. Once the Press and Public Relations Unit has approved the event or event series, it will appear in the TUD calendar of events.
Submitting events without your own events overview in the TUD WebCMS
Even if you do not have your own events overview in the TUD WebCMS, TUD members can submit an event or an event series to the calendar of events using a ZIH login. Log in to the WebCMS and go to the event overview of the calendar of events. There, you can create an event or an event series under "Add new". Fill in all necessary fields and save the details.
Once you have created the event or event series, you must submit it to be posted publicly. To do this, go to "State: private" (red flag) in the editing bar and select "Submit for publication". Once the Press and Public Relations Unit has approved the event or event series, it will appear in the TUD calendar of events.
Dresden Science Calendar
Events such as lectures or workshops held by various scientific institutions in Dresden are presented in the Dresden Science Calendar.
If you would like to list your event on the Dresden Science Calendar as well as on the TUD calendar of events, please tick the appropriate box in the "Export" tab of the TUD-WebCMS when creating the event.
