Can You Feel It? Interactive Tour of the Special Exhibition and Open Studio
Visitors to the exhibition can also experience co-creation firsthand. On one wall, they can take on the role of curators by arranging high-quality reproductions of selected works on a magnetic wall themselves.
What’s actually going on inside Medusa’s head? Can a painting convey emotions without people in it? And is red the color of love—or of anger? How does it feel to stand in the middle of an exhibition about emotions? Find out! The exhibition “Can You Feel It?” was developed in collaboration with students from the Dresden University School. The Dresden State Art Collections (SKD) invite you to an interactive tour that engages all your senses. Experience art and emotions up close. Afterward, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside artist Katharina Neubert in the Open Studio. Translate your impressions into three-dimensional forms using colored modeling clay.

The participatory exhibition project “Fühlst Du’s?” is taking place in conjunction with the exhibition “Correggio: Touchingly Human” and aims to offer a youthful perspective on the Old Masters. For nearly a year, students from the Dresden University School worked alongside SKD professionals to design and bring an exhibition to life—from selecting the works to promoting the event. For these young people, learning in extracurricular settings also offers an opportunity for early and in-depth career exploration.
