Continuing the series of conferences established in 1993, the 17th German Probability and Statistics Days (GPSD) 2025 are taking place at TU Dresden on 11th - 14th March 2025. Located in the city centre, TU Dresden is a major hub for science and the lead partner of Dresden Concept. TU Dresden is one of Germany’s Universities of Excellence since 2012.
The GPSD conferences are organized biannually with the support of the DMV-Fachgruppe Stochastik e.V. In 6 plenary lectures and 14 specialized sections with 14 keynote lectures the GPSD covers the full spectrum of probability, statistics and their applications in physics, biology, finance, insurance and data science. This conference provides an important forum for presenting and discussing the latest developments in the field for both young and senior researchers in Germany, Europe and beyond. A Get Together with Poster session as well as the Conference Dinner will offer great opportunities to have informal discussions, deepen friendships and meet new colleagues.
