Open Day at the Smart Mobility Lab

The Smart Mobility Lab warmly invites the public to its Open Construction Site Day, offering a unique opportunity to explore the future home of cutting-edge mobility research and innovation.

On Sunday, June 28, 2026, visitors are welcome from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Sandwäsche 17, 02977 Hoyerswerda, Schwarzkollm district, Germany.

Guided construction site tours will provide insights into the progress of the resreach centre and showcase the vision behind the Smart Mobility Lab. Presentations and information sessions will introduce the laboratory’s research areas and highlight technologies that are expected to shape the future of mobility.

The official program begins at 11:00 a.m. with the opening ceremony and welcome remarks, followed by greetings from regional representatives and a presentation of the overall Smart Mobility Lab concept.

In addition to the technical and scientific insights, visitors will have the opportunity to engage in discussions and learn more about the project in an informal atmosphere. Food and refreshments will be provided by local associations from Schwarzkollm.
