Teaching profile coaching
Many university lecturers seek support in the development and advancement of their own role as educators. This could relate to finding one’s own position, self-management, or reflecting on one’s teaching skills. For this reason, we offer teaching profile coaching.
Possible questions:
- My students repeatedly express that they are not satisfied. What can I do?
- How can I find my position with respect to my students and colleagues?
- What am I capable of and what are my limits?
- How can I promote the teaching and learning culture in my special field?
Over about three sessions, you can reflect on your teaching experiences and enhance your methods with the aid of a coach who works at the ZiLL and has experience in higher education teaching. This service is especially geared toward academic staff who are responsible for courses, but is available to all lecturers.
Our coaching
- is confidential and stays between coach and trainee
- features a systemic and solution-based advisory approach
- comprises coaches who see themselves as guides capable of introducing new perspectives
