FOSTER Funding program for student research has started

Starting this month, lecturers and students can apply for funding to conduct projects related to "student research".

FOSTER - Funds for Student Research - is a new funding program which aims to provide students with early opportunities for their own research activities. The targeted support of excellent students and research-oriented teaching and learning programs is intended to sustainably strengthen student research and recognize lecturers for their exceptional commitment.

Eligible projects include student research competitions and research activities, forms of research-oriented teaching, and participation in meetings and conferences.

The FOSTER program is financed from the Excellence Strategy funds of the German federal government and federal states.
