Course: Financing the Sustainable Blue Economy & Integration of Policies - Application until February 10

This course provides an in-depth insight into the blue economy, with a focus on sustainable use of ocean resources, policy integration and financing mechanisms. Students will gain practical knowledge of maritime sectors, EU integrated maritime policy and the Common Fisheries Policy.

Course highlights:

• Hybrid teaching with experts, including Prof. Ruben Eiras.
• Student project: Development and presentation of a sustainable blue economy concept to a panel of experts.
• Course objectives: maritime economy | sources of funding and EU policies | assessment of Portugal's ocean economy

Registration: Open to third-year or Master's students from EUTOPIA universities. Two groups will be selected.

• Final presentation: Selected groups will present in Lisbon (travel and accommodation costs covered).
