Series of events Basic funding instead of project competition

A consortium of trade unions and organizations (including DGB, DGJ, NGAWiss and ver.di) cordially invites all interested parties to a new series of events under the motto "Basic funding instead of project competition".

The new series of events will focus on the changes in the funding of universities and non-university research institutions. In recent years, this has increasingly shifted from basic funding to project funding, which has had a significant impact on employment relationships in the scientific fields. Today, almost 46 percent of university research budgets are financed by third-party funding.

A "learning manifesto" will serve as a basis for discussion and will be further developed and discussed at the following events:
