AI@Campus: Written, forgotten, lost? Methods, potentials, and limitations of using automated handwriting recognition in teaching
Since the release of ChatGPT to a broad audience, the development of generative AI tools and applications has progressed rapidly. At the same time, their use in higher education teaching currently raises more questions than answers.
This event series addresses diverse topics and perspectives, offering participants the opportunity to gain an overview of current possibilities and challenges in dealing with generative AI. Each session focuses on a specific aspect and allows participants to compare their own experiences with the presented content, discuss questions, and engage in exchange with the speakers as well as other participants. Each session begins with the so-called “KIkeriKI” – a short news flash from the world of AI with a focus on higher education teaching.
The target groups are instructors and students from all disciplines and types of higher education institutions, (higher education) didactics specialists, as well as teaching support staff.
