Teaching in MINT – Methods Workshop for Tutors
Tutors play a key role in higher education and significantly contribute to teaching quality. In addition to their subject expertise, it's essential that tutors are able to plan and deliver their sessions using sound didactic methods.

This workshop is aimed at tutors in STEM subjects who wish to further develop their teaching skills. Special emphasis is placed on the practical applicability of the concepts and methods introduced, as well as on peer exchange.

Learning outcomes:
Participants will be able to:

• plan tutorials using the principles of constructive alignment

• motivate students in a situation-appropriate way

• apply activating methods and online tools

• support active learning using the principle of minimal guidance

• understand the basics of classroom management
