Mental strength in stressful times
01069 Dresden
A mind full, a racing heart—and suddenly everything feels overwhelming. In this 90-minute workshop, you’ll learn in a clear and accessible way why your body reacts like this and what you can do to regain your mental strength.
We will work with effective techniques such as calming breathing to lower heart rate and pulse, physical movement to reduce nervousness, frequency music for neural relaxation, affirmations to foster a motivated mindset, and meditations to quiet a racing mind. This workshop will not only help you in the moment but also show you long-term ways to build mental strength.
Learning objectives:
Participants will:
- understand how mental strength develops, how it differs from stress-related reactions in the brain, and how they can consciously influence it.
- learn effective relaxation techniques and apply them in practice to regulate inner restlessness.
- develop personal strategies to cope constructively with exam stress and strengthen their ability to concentrate.
