Open Teaching Workshop
01069 Dresden
The Open Teaching Workshop is a new, regularly offered format for all tutors, meta-tutors, and committed peer mentors. Instead of classic peer meetings, you’ll find a didactically framed workspace designed to foster exchange, development, and co-creation.
Whether you want to work on your own materials, get fresh ideas for your tutorials, or simply connect with others—the teaching workshop provides the right setting.
📌 What to expect:
-
Check-in & goal setting
We start with a short round: What topics are you bringing? Where do you need support? -
Self-learning & co-working time
Use existing materials from OPAL courses, current training offers, or your own content—alone or paired with others. All topics related to your tutoring find space here. -
Exchange & short pitches
Connect purposefully with others: Who’s looking for help? Who offers experience, tips, or materials? At the end, there’s room for short presentations, questions, and joint reflection.
💡 Your benefits:
-
Peer networking on equal footing
Learn from other tutors and actively contribute your perspective. -
Feedback & further development
Receive concrete feedback on your approach and develop your teaching practice. -
Focus on your own materials
Use this protected space to test new ideas, refine content, or find inspiration. -
Questions encouraged!
Whether methodological, organizational, or technical—there’s room for everything that concerns you in the workshop.
