Act Confidently & Communicate Professionally – with Students and Lecturers

Tutors occupy a special role between students and lecturers. In this workshop, you will reflect on your position within the teaching context and learn to communicate professionally and confidently—both with students and with instructors. Based on typical real-life situations, you will develop conversation strategies, strengthen your social skills, and build confidence in your presence.
Learning objectives:
Participants will be able to:
- reflect on their role as a tutor in the tension between students and lecturers.
- clarify expectations with lecturers in a constructive way.
- use communication tools (e.g. “I” statements, structured conversation techniques) effectively.
- act confidently and professionally in challenging situations.
