Designing Effective Tutorials – Structure, Methods & Engagement
01069 Dresden
A good tutorial is more than just a repetition of lecture content. In this workshop, you will learn how to structure your tutorial sessions clearly, use activating methods effectively, and support learning processes in a meaningful way. Using concrete practical examples, you will develop your own sequences for your tutorial and receive peer feedback. The goal is to gain greater confidence in the didactic design of your teaching and to engage students in a sustainable way.
Learning objectives:
Participants will be able to:
- structure tutorial sessions clearly (introduction – development – consolidation – transfer).
- select and apply activating methods appropriately to the situation.
- apply the principle of “minimal guidance” to foster independent learning.
- reflect on and further develop their own tutorial session from a didactic perspective.
