Tutors’ Café – By Women for Women

At the Tutors’ Café, (prospective) female tutors and interested female students come together to share experiences, learn from one another, and support each other. Over coffee and open conversation, we take about an hour to talk about our experiences.
This time, in recognition of Diversity Week, we’ll explore the seemingly simple question: “Where are you really from?”
What effect does this question have on us? Why does it often target those whose name, skin color, or appearance don’t seem “typically German”? And how can we respond to it with confidence?
In this format, participants share their experiences, promote mutual understanding, and develop strategies for handling challenging situations with confidence and strength.
