Registration for the aptitude assessment procedure for the Master's degree program "International Relations" still possible until 31 May
Dear prospective students,
Are you looking for a university-based, social science Master's program with a clear international focus and an interdisciplinary and research-oriented orientation? Are you looking for a committed study environment and do you aspire to work in a professional field with an international focus? Our interdisciplinary Master's degree program "International Relations" at the Center for International Studies at TU Dresden could be exactly what you are looking for.
The profile of the degree program is characterized by an interdisciplinary research-oriented education in the two core disciplines of the chosen specialization (combinable disciplines: Political Science with a focus on International Politics (IP), International Law (IR) and Economics with a focus on International Economics (IW)).
The Master's degree program IB of the ZIS is offered in the following three specializations:
- Global Political Economy - GPOE (core subjects International Politics and International Economics),
- International Order and Institutions - IO (International Politics and International Law)
- International Law and Economics - ILE (International Law and International Economics)
Mandatory internships in Germany or abroad as well as an (optional) study period abroad, for which the mobility window in the third semester is available, are integrated into the course of study.
The prerequisite for a successful application is participation in the aptitude assessment procedure (EFV), which is based on the application documents submitted by you and an approx. 20-minute aptitude assessment interview (conducted online).
Registration for the aptitude assessment procedure with the aim of starting your studies in the winter semester 2025/2026 is still possible until May 31, 2025. On the basis of the aptitude assessment, applications can be submitted until July 15, 2025.
