Further results of the 4th Saxon Student Survey published
Studying in the pandemic: The majority of students have mastered this challenge, but there is also a large group of severely affected students. Digital forms of teaching as a supplement to classroom teaching offer many advantages. Students' need for counseling is significantly greater than their use of it. The bachelor's degree is increasingly accepted for career entry. The quality of studies and teaching has improved significantly. Teachers provide good support, but there are also problems with teaching organization.
These are just a few of the results from the 4th Saxon Student Survey conducted by the Competence Center for (Higher) Education Research at the ZQA of TU Dresden in 2022. A random selection of students from all state universities, universities of applied sciences and art colleges were surveyed. A total of 11,000 students participated. Under the direction of Prof. Dr. Karl Lenz and sponsored by the Saxon State Ministry of Science, Culture and Tourism, this fourth comprehensive inventory of the study situation and study quality in Saxony from the perspective of students was created.
