Position and regulations
As a central academic institution between faculties and departments, university administration and management, the ZQA has the organizational task of acting as an overarching advisory unit. Cooperations with various university institutions and functional units are the result of the different tasks of the ZQA.

The ZQA is legally and organizationally subject to the rectorate, but operates independently in regards to research.
