Evidence based university development
By providing, processing and analyzing data, conducting surveys and evaluating structural units or measures, the ZQA assumes tasks for evidence based university development with particular reference to studying and teaching. However, issues relating to research, the promotion of young academics, the promotion of equality and diversity, internationalization, digitization or transfer can also be the subject of these surveys, analyses and evaluations. ZQA regularly evaluates projects or facilities and offers of the TU Dresden and its partner institutions or advises them on the development of evaluation concepts (for example, the TUDIAS preparatory course or the model study program of the Faculty of Medicine).

Evidence based university development
In the future, a data portal for all study programs is to be created and continuously updated for the area of study and teaching by including survey data, university statistics prepared internally by the university, anonymized data from the examination database (module statistics) and other suitable data sources. This is to serve the study programs and the management structures as a central source of information for ongoing quality development and in particular during the times of quality analysis within the framework of quality management for study and teaching.
