Institute of Vocational Education and Didactics
The Institute of Vocational Education and Vocational Didactics is part of the Faculty of Education at the TUD Dresden University of Technology. The institute’s history dates back to the founding of the Pedagogical Institute at the TUD Dresden University of Technology in 1924. Today, the institute is home to a wide range of academic disciplines, including the Chair of Construction, Wood and Paint Technology and Interieur Design / Vocational Didactics; the Chair of Educational Technology; the Chair of Vocational Education; the Chair of Nutrition and Home Economics as well as Vocational Didactics, the Chair of Adult Education, the Chair of Health and Nursing / Vocational Didactics, the Chair of Vocational Didactics in Mechatronics, the Chair of Social Pedagogy including its Didactics, The chemical engineering department; Didactics of Chemistry; and the subject area of Economics, Technology, and Home Economics/Social Studies,
