Institute of Vocational Education and Didactics
The Institute of Vocational Education and Vocational Didactics is part of the Faculty of Education at Dresden University of Technology. The history of the Institute dates back to the founding of the Institute of Education at Dresden University of Technology in 1924. Today, the Institute is home to a large number of scientific areas, such as the Chair of Construction Wood and Paint Technology and Paint Technology and Interior Design/Vocational Didactics, the Chair of Educational Technology, the Chair of Vocational Education, the Junior Professorship in Nutrition and Home Economics and Vocational Didactics, the Chair of Adult Education, the Chair of Health and Nursing / Vocational Didactics, the Chair of Metals and Machine Technology / Vocational Didactics, the Chair of Social Education and Machine Technology / Vocational Didactics, the Junior Professorship in Organizational Development in Education, the Department of Chemical Engineering; Didactics of Chemistry, the Department of Business, Technology and Home Economics/Social Affairs, as well as the Chair of Systematic and Historical Vocational Education and the Senior Professorship in Didactics of Vocational Learning.
