Research Interests
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques that help us better understand how the brain works:
- Structural magnetic resonance imaging techniques sensitive to changes in the myelination of axons: Myelin water mapping, quantitative magnetization transfer (qMT), diffusion weighted imaging (DWI, DTI, NODDI, tractography).
- Functional MRI techniques: Blood oxygen level dependent (BOLD) imaging, real-time feedback, influence of transcranial brain stimulation (TMS) on fMRI.
- Development of an image processing framework: Neuro Imaging Center Python Pipelines (NICePype), automatic data analysis of structural and functional MRI data on distributed computing environments.
