Research Statement
My main research interest focuses on action control / executive functioning and its interaction with automated behavior. I strive for a better understanding of how fronto-striatal loops and different neurotransmitter systems modulate behavior and its neural correlates. To investigate this, I take different approaches including endogenously and / or exogenously triggered changes in various neurotransmitters systems, MR spectroscopy, and various neurophysiological methods.
