Josephine Zerna and Christoph Scheffel awarded 2023 IGOR Prize for Open and Reproducible Science.
The Interest Group Open and Reproducible Research (IGOR) in the Division of Biological Psychology and Neuropsychology awarded Josephine Zerna (SFB940) and Christoph Scheffel with this year's Open and Reproducible Science Prize at the German Society's Division Meeting "Psychology and Brain 2023". The prize was awarded for their registered report "When easy is not preferred: A discounting paradigm to assess load-independent task preference".
The IGOR award recognizes contributions that exemplify the application of open and reproducible science practices or represent metascience on topics of open and reproducible science. Based on previously submitted abstracts, the jury selects the most promising contributions. Two jury members will look at each shortlisted presentation and evaluate it on various aspects related to the promotion of openness and reproducibility. The prize is endowed with 500 euros.
