Award for the Boysen TUD Research Training Group: International­ization 2021

It was with great pleasure that the Boysen-TU Dresden Research Training Group received the news in mid-September that the selection committee for the Internationalization Prize 2021 had chosen our project as worthy of an award!

The Internationalization Prize was announced for the 5th time at TU Dresden. The award recognizes the exceptional commitment to internationalization of the Technische Universität Dresden. This year, the selection committee received a total of 18 applications from a wide range of initiatives and projects clearly illustrating how internationalization is lived at our university.

The Boysen-TUD Research Training Group impressed the jury with its application as a model in which the culture of international research, teaching, and intercultural learning is pronounced and reflected, and the quality of cooperation among our colleagues is impressively high (see also the news portal of TU Dresden). The application describes the extraordinary Boysen spirit and how it is cherished and nurtured, the great importance of tolerance and support within the group is made clear, and the great development potential inherent in such transnational, interdisciplinary, and cross-mentality research is described.

In addition to the Boysen TUD Research Training Group, five other selected initiatives were financially supported with prize money. We would like to thank you very much for this honor and the appreciation that is shown to our project with this award. For us, this award is a motivating impetus to cultivate the very special "spirit" of our group and to relay it into future generations of the Group.
