New members of the RTG introduce themselves
At the beginning of February 2022, two new members joined the team of the Boysen TU Dresden Research Training Group with the start of their bridging projects. After a few days of getting to know each other and settling in, we would like to give Mr. Zizhe Wang (research project BR1 "Hydrogen4GreenIT") and Mr. David Schlegel (BR2 - "Comparing methodologies for the development and validation of cryogenic and high-pressure hydrogen storage systems made of fiber-reinforced plastic in transport and freight traffic") the chance to introduce themselves and share their first impressions of the team:
I am very happy to have become part of the Boysen-TU Dresden Research Training Group on the same day of the Chinese New Year (02/01/22). In the Boysen-TUD-RTG, many doctoral students carry out their research in a wide range of areas at different chairs. In addition to the supervising professors, our managing director, Dr. Anna Martius, is also there to support us as a doctoral supervisor for the whole team. I have experienced a very friendly and open team atmosphere here so far.
Overall, I am very excited to combine my skills in automotive engineering and computer science at the Chair of Software Technology and at the Boysen-TUD-RTG with the "Hydrogen4GreenIT" project, as well as to share my specialist knowledge and hobbies with the other doctoral students. (Zizhe Wang)
As a new member of the Boysen-TU Dresden Research Training Group, I am pleased to have the opportunity to advance my research on hydrogen tanks as part of the 2022 bridging projects. According to my first impressions, the expectation of interdisciplinarity is fully met. I was warmly welcomed by a colorful group from different disciplines who are happy to help out with technical and organizational questions. Together with the well-designed premises, there seems to be a very good working atmosphere which our work will benefit from. (David Schlegel)
We are very much looking forward to working together with the two new scholarship holders. With their experience and research focuses, Mr. Wang and Mr. Schlegel are a real enrichment for our group. Welcome to the team!
