Online Workshop for the ConfIDent Project (28.05.20)

On May 28th, 2020, an online workshop took place with two TIB employees (Julian Franken and Dr. Stephanie Hagemann-Wilholt) and the Boysen-TUD-Research Training Group on the ConfIDent project funded by the DFG. ConfIDent seeks to build a platform that researchers can use to inform themselves about conferences and other scientific events. In addition to the presentation of the project, questions were discussed, such as "Which factors influence the decision to attend a conference?" or "How can a suitable academic event be found and how can the quality of this event be assessed?". Valuable insights gained from the discussion will be used to guide the project towards developing a more useful platform for researchers.
