Scholarship holders pedal for the environment and for research

This year, once again, scholars from the Boysen-TU Dresden Research Training Group are participating in the City Cycling program for Dresden, an ongoing action of the European Climate Alliance. Teams taking part in the friendly competition campaign collect kilometers on their bikes between July and October.

At the same time, the program supports the Movebis funding project of the Technische Universität Dresden, in which mass data collected from the bicycle traffic is evaluated and algorithms are developed to support municipal planning, along with any accompanying data and communication measures. The project is led by Prof. Udo Becker, who as PI (Principal Investigator) belongs to the 3rd Boysen-TU Dresden Research Training Group.
