Hani Shahmoradimoghadam completes doctorate with top marks
As the fourth doctoral student of the former 3rd Boysen-TU Dresden-Research Training Group, Hani Shahmoradimoghadam successfully defended his dissertation on "Designing Optimization Models and Decision-Making Approaches for Mobile Supply Chains" on 11.04.2024. As part of his dissertation, he developed mathematical optimization models for mobile factories that can be transported by truck and shared by different production sites. His work on this innovative supply chain concept represents a significant contribution to research into cost-effective and flexible logistics solutions. For his outstanding dissertation, he was awarded the academic degree of Doctor rerum politicarum with the distinction of summa cum laude.
The doctoral committee consisted of the main supervisor and first reviewer Prof. Dr. Jörn Schönberger, Faculty of Business and Economics, the second reviewer Prof. Dr. Christian Bierwirth, Institute of Business Administration at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, as well as Prof. Dr. Udo Buscher, Faculty of Business and Economics, and Prof. Dr. Dr. Georg Hirte, Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences. The committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Pascal Kerschke, "Friedrich List" Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences.
