Interdisciplinarity at Boysen-TU Dresden-Research Training Group
The Boysen-TU Dresden-Research Training Group aims to bring together perspectives of technical and natural science disciplines with perspectives of the humanities and social sciences in joint projects.
In order to overcome the challenges of seeing through a sustainable transformation of the energy system and a transformation of traditional mobility concepts, it makes sense to consider and combine perspectives and methods from different disciplines. Through the holistic consideration of political, legal, economic, social, and technical issues, the Research Training Group hopes to make important contributions to current research.
The interdisciplinary understanding at the Boysen-TU Dresden-Research Training Group is supported by:
- Supervision of the doctoral projects of researchers from different disciplines and scientific cultures
- Cooperative research on overarching themes
- Gaining a mutual understanding of different scientific cultures and methods from different disciplines
- Publication of joint research papers
- Joint conference contributions
