PhD with highest honors! Congratulations. On November 5th, 2024, Hauke Hirsch successfully defended his dissertation titled Modelling of Fifth Generation District Heating and Cooling Networks Coupled to Ground Heat Exchangers.
The work focuses on modeling cold district heating networks and shallow geothermal energy. It makes an important contribution to improving the planning of CO2-neutral heating supply concepts for neighborhoods.
