Kick-off meeting of the new WTA unit 12

Dates: The kick-off meeting of the department will take place at the TUD Dresden University of Technology, organized by the Institute of Building Climatology, on 21.06.2024 from 2 pm in the office building Zellescher Weg 17 room B301 (short: BZW B301 Navigation via Campus-Navigator) as well as parallel via Zoom (hybrid event, link will be sent by e-mail).

Motivation: In view of the advancing climate change and the associated challenges in energy supply and the renovation of listed buildings, the "Climate Protection, Energy and Simulation" department of the TUD Dresden University of Technology is committed to innovative and sustainable solutions. The aim is to avoid drastic interventions in the building fabric and appearance and instead use special planning and refurbishment methods based on building physics.

Procedure: On 21.06.2024 14:00 we cordially invite you to the kick-off meeting of the unit at the Institute of Building Climatology in Dresden with the following conference points:

• 14:15 Presentation of the working groups - topics and delimitation
• 15:00 Coffee and cake
• 15:30 Workshops of the working groups
• 16:30 Farewell
• 17:00 End of official part
• 17:30 Guided tour of the IBK laboratory & research test stand (optional, duration 1h)
• 19:30 Dinner & drinks (self-paying) at Umaii an der Frauenkirche

Objective: The newly founded department "Climate Protection, Energy and Simulation" is actively committed to sustainable and future-oriented development through innovative approaches and interdisciplinary cooperation and invites interested parties to participate in this important process.
