Fields of Research
The Chair's research focuses on topics that are located at the interface between architecture and civil engineering, and that focus on synthesizing the concerns of both disciplines. The overarching focal point of the individual research topics lies in questions of form-finding, the interactions between form and load-bearing behaviour of individual construction methods and systems, and related morphological considerations.
