If we want to limit climate change and avoid unfavorable environmental changes, we must save resources and energy. This also means great challenges in the building industry, especially when it comes to saving energy in Architectural Monuments. With the conference "Denkmal und Energie" (Monument and Energy), the Institute for Building Construction of the TU Dresden offers an annual continuing education event on the topic of energy saving in listed buildings. At the conference, 12 lectures will present and discuss the latest research findings, practical project examples and the effectiveness of newly developed materials and innovative manufacturing processes for historic materials. A major focus will be on the issue of improving user comfort and simultaneously increasing the energy efficiency of listed buildings.
