The May Alumnus of the Month

Monif Alhourani is  Palestinian and was born in the Gaza strip. At the beginning of the 1980s, he came to Dresden to study Civil Engineering at the Department of Structural Engineering. Monif Alhourani his career took him around the world He worked in Jordan, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Since 2008, he has been self-employed in the field of building construction. He is also shareholder of a construction company in UAE and a project development company in Germany. “I specialized in waterfront structures like wharves and docks, and infrastructure projects. In recent years, I have implemented projects for sustainable and renewable energy,” he says looking back.
