Dipl.-Ing. Leonie Koch awarded Lohrmann Medal as best student of the Civil Engineering degree program

Dipl.-Ing. Leonie Koch (6th from left) was awarded the Wilhelm Gotthelf Lohrmann Medal as the best graduate of the Civil Engineering degree program in the 2024/2025 academic year. The TUD Dresden University of Technology honors its most outstanding graduates with this award every year.

Each faculty and the Student Council can nominate one person who has distinguished themselves not only through an excellent thesis, but also through very good performance throughout their studies. By awarding the medal, the Rector of TU Dresden, Prof. Ursula M. Staudinger, and the Vice-Rector Academic Affairs Across the Life Course, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Niels Modler, want to "support, encourage and motivate young talents at the beginning of their careers".
In addition to Leonie Koch, two other graduates of the Faculty of Civil Engineering were honored with the certificate of the best graduates of the School of Engineering Sciences at a ceremony on December 5:
