Glass construction conference in Dresden: Current developments from research and practice

Sustainability, resource conservation and new design approaches in glass construction were the focus of this year's conference at the TUD Dresden University of Technology. Experts from industry and research presented current work and discussed key issues in their presentations.

The programme included contributions on developments in research and standardization, innovative applications in glass architecture and complex façade constructions. Both technical solutions and new research approaches were presented.

The lecture program was supplemented by interactive workshops, which enabled an in-depth examination of individual topics. In the evening, short Pecha Kucha presentations offered insights into current research projects and led into informal discussions.
