On September 18, 2026, Mrs. Dipl.-Ing. Maria Böttcher successfully defended her dissertation as part of his doctoral program, titled “Methods for a robust structural design under consideration of polymorphic uncertain data.” The event took place in the Beyer Building at TU Dresden.
In addition to the chair of the doctoral committee, Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Alexander Zeißler (TU Dresden), the following were present as reviewers: Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Michael Kaliske (TU Dresden), Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Udo Nackenhorst (Leibniz Universität Hannover), and Prof. Ph.D. Rafi Muhanna (Georgia Tech, USA). Further member of the doctoral committee was Prof. Dr.-Ing. Wolfgang Graf (TU Dresden).
