• 1939 – 1945 managing director of the Institute for Earth work at TH Dresden with lectureship for soil mechanics

• 1943 honorary professor for soil mechanics at TH Dresden

• 1945 – 1948 branch manager of Siemens-Bauunion in Innsbruck

• 1947 book publication ''Baugrund und Physik'', Schweizer Druck- und Verlagshaus, Zürich

• from 1949 own engineering office and institute of foundations with focus on underground injection (cement grouting for lifting of structures)

• died September 1953 in Benediktbeuren / Bavaria
