The Institute of Geotechnical Engineering at the annual fall meeting of the CRC/TRR 339

The annual autumn meeting of the Collaborative Research Center Transregio 339 was held in Bonn this year.
Through ongoing communication between the project-affiliated institutions at TU Dresden and RWTH Aachen, the development of the digital twin of the road is consistently advancing. The Institute of Geotechnical Engineering is also involved in this project through subproject A07, "Interaction between road structure and subsoil." In this context, the institute is engaged in experimental research on soil behavior and the development of suitable constitutive models for its description.
