Institute of Geotechnical Engineering at the Symposium 'RECENT DEVELOPMENTS OF SOIL MECHANICS AND GEOTECHNICS IN THEORY AND PRACTICE' in Bochum

On the occasion of Professor Theodoros Triantafyllidis' 70th birthday, the symposium 'RECENT DEVELOPMENTS OF SOIL MECHANICS AND GEOTECHNICS IN THEORY AND PRACTICE' was held on March 26th and 27th, 2024 at the Ruhr University Bochum. Our institute director Professor Ivo Herle gave a lecture there on the topic 'Build-up of pore water pressure in coarse-grained soils at various conditions' and presented the newly developed method for investigating the tendency of granular soils to liquefy.
