IGS Student Award for Claudia Bräunig

The IGS Student Award promotes young talents in the field of geosynthetics and related technologies. The aim is to disseminate knowledge and strengthen the exchange among young geotechnical engineers and geoscientists worldwide. In the current, ninth award period (2022-2025), the 2024 award for Europe was announced. The winners were invited to EuroGeo 8 in Lille (France), which took place from September 15-18, 2025. The IGS Student Award is provided by the International Geosynthetics Society.
